    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><p><strong>Job Overview:</strong></p><p>The Teacher&#39;s Aide supports the lead teacher in delivering a positive and productive learning environment. Responsibilities include assisting with lesson preparation, classroom management, and individualized student support to foster a nurturing educational experience focusing on safety and supervision. &nbsp;<strong>We are looking for someone who has flexible hours (around 15 to 19 hours a week).</strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain NAEYC Accreditation Standards and practices.</li><li>Comply with DHS Child Care Licensing Hawaii Administrative Rules.</li><li>Work with individuals or small groups of children as directed by the lead teacher.</li><li>Assist the teacher in planning and implementing educational activities, lessons, and materials.</li><li>Assist in assessing and documenting student progress and behavior.</li><li>Assist with mealtime preparations and nap-time support.</li><li>Monitor student behavior and enforce school policies to promote a safe and respectful learning environment.</li><li>Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to support learning objectives.</li><li>Help maintain classroom organization and cleanliness such as cleaning, sanitizing, toileting, and diapering, plus managing supplies and resources.</li><li>Conduct yourself in an appropriate manner when dealing with children, other staff or parents, or during school activities on or off campus.</li><li>Be sensitive and responsive to children&#39;s needs.</li><li>Use positive modeling and behavior management.</li><li>Follow school policies and procedures (maintain confidentiality).</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be at least 16 years of age and have some experience working with young children.&nbsp;</li><li>Must meet state licensing requirements (Medical, TB, and criminal history clearance).</li><li>Able to lift up to 35 lbs.</li><li>CPR/First Aid certification.</li></ul><p><strong>About Us:</strong></p><p>Seagull Schools provides children an exceptional start to their educational journey.
