Job Title: Food Service Supervisor Job Type: Part-Time / On-Call Management Position Location: Tokyo, Japan Position Overview We are seeking a Food Service Supervisor to provide oversight and support for a small food service operation serving U.S. Marine personnel. This position focuses on quality control, staff support, scheduling, and ensuring food service standards are maintained. Minimum Requirements The candidate shall have at minimum: Three (3) years of food service management, restaurant management, catering management, or hospitality experience. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations. Ability to respond to operational issues quickly when needed. Duties and Responsibilities The candidate must: Serve as the primary management contact for the food service operation. Support and oversee food service staff. Maintain employee schedules and staffing coverage. Conduct periodic quality inspections. Assist with menu planning and operational improvements. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation requirements. Coordinate staffing replacements when necessary. Address employee performance issues and provide guidance. Maintain required operational records and reports. Communicate regularly with the customer and company management.
