    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Counselor will be responsible for all facets of the implementation of the Youth Program Summer Day Camp, primarily the supervision of youth and activities.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Participate in implementing Summer Day Camp under the Director’s leadership and Corps Officers as needed.</li>\n <li>Proper supervision of youth while maintaining a safe and structured environment at all times.</li>\n <li>Participation with students during all activities.</li>\n <li>Assist with the teaching and implementation of lessons and activities (i.e. arts, recreation, devotions, etc.).</li>\n <li>Assist with snack and meal distribution</li>\n <li>Attend all field trips and other outings</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain good stewardship practices in care of equipment, facilities and grounds</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Passion to help disadvantaged youth</li>\n <li>Good communication skills</li>\n <li>All three PA Clearances required upon employment and thereafter upon renewal date: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, Request for Criminal Record, and Fingerprint based federal criminal history.</li>\n <li>PA Mandated and Permissive Reporting and The Salvation Army's KeepSAfe training required.</li>\n <li>High school diploma  - or working towards one</li>\n <li>Previous employment or volunteer experience working with youth and leading activities</li>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>",
