This hands-on role is ideal for a dependable cleaning professional with strong customer service skills who enjoys contributing to a vibrant community of over 200 residents. As a live-in team member, you will be responsible for maintaining all building areas and ensuring that shared spaces remain clean, modern, well-maintained, and welcoming for residents.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our Weston Road community consists of two conjoined apartment buildings with on-site amenities including laundry facilities, parking, and security systems, supporting the day-to-day operations of a large residential community. The property is situated in a well-connected urban corridor with direct access to TTC transit at the doorstep and nearby GO service, as well as convenient access to major highways. The surrounding community includes a mix of residential and commercial amenities such as shopping centres, schools, healthcare services, and recreational spaces, with parks and trails along the Humber River located nearby.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p>In addition to the duties typically expected of a cleaning professional, responsibilities will include;</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.</li>\n<li>Clean and sanitize bathrooms, laundry rooms, and common areas to ensure high hygiene standards.</li>\n<li>Empty garbage and ensure that waste is disposed of safely and properly.</li>\n<li>Perform occasional deep cleaning including scrubbing baseboards, cleaning appliances, and refinishing floors.</li>\n<li>Respond to any cleaning work orders submitted by the property management team.</li>\n<li>Occasionally engage in snow removal during winter months.</li>\n<li>Report any maintenance or repair issues to the property operations team.</li>\n<li>Follow all safety protocols and use all assigned personal protective equipment appropriately.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning, janitorial services, or housekeeping is considered a strong asset, but is not required.</li>\n<li>Ability to perform a variety of repetitive physical tasks, including bending, kneeling, lifting, and walking for extended periods of time.</li>\n<li>Basic English verbal communication skills.</li>\n<li>Friendly, respectable, and community-minded with strong interpersonal skills.</li>\n<li>Must be eligible to successfully complete a Criminal Record Check (CRC) as a condition of employment.</li>\n<li>Ability to provide professional references and have a proven record of reliable work attendance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Our Team + What You Can Expect</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Most of the work completed will be at 2220-2222 Weston Road, North York, Ontario, M9N 1YZ. However, you may be required to occasionally work at neighboring properties. Work location will always be at the discretion of the employer.</li>\n<li>This role requires continuous on-call availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to address emergency situations and urgent resident needs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The expected base salary for this position is between $30,000 - $35,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including skills, experience, internal equity, and other job-related requirements.
