Description
We made history and now we work to transform the future – for our customers, our communities and our families. You'll see your work on the road every day, helping people move freely and pursue their dreams. At Ford, you can build more than vehicles. Come build what matters.
The Ford Purchasing team adds critical value to the entire organization. You’ll help us source the highest quality parts and services from around the globe while ensuring optimal cost and on-time delivery. You’ll also contribute to establishing a robust supply chain so that we can continually produce the vehicles our customers want.
In this position...
A critical component of the Ford EV Charging business, responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of EV Charging Hardware, installation, and after-sale maintenance services. Operating in a dynamic, "startup-like" environment, the successful candidate will design and implement nimble purchasing models that capitalize on Ford’s scale and leverage. • Negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and Service-Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring favorable terms regarding IP rights, liability, warranty, and RMAs.
• Establish and monitor KPI metrics and lead Supplier Business Unit Reviews (BURs) to drive continuous improvement, quality, and high customer satisfaction.
• Serve as the primary interface between Indirect/Production Purchasing, Ford charging, PD, Finance, and Legal to align on automotive standards and business goals.
• Support North American inventory tracking, oversee supply chain risk assessments, and coordinate with logistics and sales to ensure timely delivery and program launches.
• Design and implement agile purchasing frameworks and cost models that support fast decision-making and speed-to-market.
• Ensure all activities adhere to corporate purchasing policies, including financial assessments, bailment approvals, and the proper execution of purchase orders.
