Simultaneously, you will drive environmental stewardship by preventing exposures and reducing waste through lean, cost-effective manufacturing strategies.<br><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong><ul><li><strong>New Product Introduction (NPI):</strong> Design and implement robust manufacturing processes tailored to customer specifications; develop detailed technical drawings, establish rigid quality specifications, and author comprehensive work instructions.</li><li><strong>Quality Leadership:</strong> Act as the primary technical interface for customer quality concerns; lead the end-to-end Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action (CAPA) processes for internal and external issues.</li><li><strong>Process Optimization:</strong> Continuously research and test innovative manufacturing methods to maximize throughput and minimize production costs while upholding strict quality principles.</li><li><strong>Technical Support:</strong> Provide real-time engineering resolution to production floor challenges to maintain schedule integrity.</li><li><strong>Project Management:</strong> Deliver accurate product reports and project milestone updates; lead technical product reviews and cross-functional team meetings.</li><li><strong>Stakeholder Communication:</strong> Ensure 100% clarity on customer requirements through proactive, efficient communication with both internal departments and external partners.</li><li><strong>Compliance & Safety:</strong> Maintain total adherence to established business practices, safety protocols, and regulatory work rules.</li></ul><strong>Marginal Job Functions</strong><ul><li><strong>Documentation Management:</strong> Manage engineering documentation libraries to ensure high accessibility and strict version control.</li><li><strong>Team Leadership:</strong> Serve as a project lead for special initiatives or continuous improvement teams as assigned.</li><li><strong>Operational Support:</strong> Support broader manufacturing process troubleshooting to minimize downtime across the facility.</li><li><strong>Workplace Excellence:</strong> Maintain a safe, clean, and organized professional work environment (5S).</li></ul><strong>Education and Experience Requirements</strong><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> Associate Degree in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field (Required).</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> 3+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.</li><li><strong>Alternative:</strong> A suitable combination of equivalent education and hands-on industrial experience will be considered.</li><li><strong>Skills:</strong> Proficiency in CAD software, knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma principles, and strong technical writing abilities.</li></ul>",
