    "description": "<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">PROFESSIONAL SCHOOL CUSTODIAN</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Department:                              </span>OPERATIONS</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">JOB TITLE:</span>                             Professional School Custodian</p>\n<p>250 –Day Contract</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">REPORTS TO:    </span>                     Chief Custodial Manager</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">REQUIREMENTS:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education Level:</span>                       High School diploma or its equivalent</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience Desired</span>:                 Minimum of 1 year prior custodial experience</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Requirements</span>:          </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good physical health including ability to lift 75 pounds, climb to high and difficult places and work at those places.</li>\n<li>Requires constant hand-eye and mind-eye coordination, standing and walking.</li>\n<li>Frequent bending, carrying, hearing lifting and stooping. </li>\n<li>Occasional climbing and crawling.</li>\n<li>Follow safety protocols for cleaning chemical and equipment usage.</li>\n<li>Ability to complete assigned tasks independently or in a team environment.</li>\n<li>Ability to understand and carry out both verbal and written instructions.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of, or ability to learn how to use cleaning equipment.  (carpet cleaner, floor scrubber, floor buffer/stripper/burnisher, etc.)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Conditions</span>:      Occasionally subjected to mechanical and electrical hazards, extreme temperatures and humidity, atmospheric conditions occasionally include fumes and dust, caution necessary to avoid harm from misuse of</p>\n<p>chemicals.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sweeps, dusts, arranges furniture, empties trash and pencil sharpeners, cleans chalkboards and sets for activities.</li>\n<li>Washes walls, woodwork and windows, and cleans and polishes metal surfaces. Cleans and maintains hard and soft surface floors.</li>\n<li>Wet mops and spot clean hard and soft surface floors.
