Working with Farmers you receive extensive sales training, product training, and support from your district office throughout your career. Our proven systems will teach you an integrated approach designed to provide real value to your prospects and clients. In fact, the Farmers training program and Farmers University have been inducted into the prestigious Training 125 Hall of Fame in February of 2014 If you’re interested in being part of an elite team and being truly proud of what you do, a career as a Sales and Marketing Manager at Farmers Insurance is the right fit for you. Our Sales and Marketing Managers make an impact on our clients’ lives every day and help them make important decisions which will impact their personal, family and business life. Additional responsibilities of the Sales and Marketing Manager include: • Ensure positive customer experience with every interaction • Handle and process all leads (in person, phone, sales, service, etc.) in a timely manner • Deepening relationships with customers by selling additional products • Demonstrate strong communication skills • Providing excellent customer service by processing payments and reporting claims • Creating your own daily schedule • Staying abreast of evolving industry licenses and keeping them current • Assisting with staff hiring decisions • Conducting needs-based policy reviews and updating policies and coverage as needed • Cross-selling existing customers with other Farmers products and brokered products where available • Participate in weekly meetings • Prospecting ad generating new business through leads and referrals • Generating accurate quotes at high volumes • Work well in a team environment and cultivate relationships with others • Demonstrate a passion to discuss an insured’s need for life insurance • Maintain proper time management and execute follow up • Maintaining accurate documentation in agency systems As a Sales and Marketing Manager, you must have strong organizational and time-management skills as well as exceptional interpersonal communication abilities. We are seeking individuals from any background who are willing to work hard and commit themselves to the success of this business opportunity; however, experience in sales, marketing and/or customer service is very beneficial.
