    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p>ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:&nbsp;</p><p>To insure the correct handling and distribution of all materials in support of production activities throughout the plant while demonstrating safe and efficient use of qualified material handling equipment, including but not limited to fork lifts, walk-behind lifts, and Raymond type lifts. &nbsp;The Material Handler is responsible for staging raw materials and packaging supplies, steel and wood reel movement, bulk material handling, truck loading and unloading, and to perform any support duty in any department as directed by their Supervisor.&nbsp;</p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: &nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Safely operate powered material handling trucks.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Provide any needed raw materials or reels for production lines</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Move warehoused raw material items to lines</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Move excess raw materials back to the warehouse after a production is completed on a line</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Movement of material between 2801 and 2901 factories</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Pick up trash and dump into outside containers each shift.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Assist operator or helper with machine related tasks when needed such as machine set up</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Move scrap to staging area, weigh, and properly tag for shipping</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Move finished product into the finished goods reel yard and accurately update location in SAP</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.</p><p><strong>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>High school education or the equivalent.</li><li>Previous experience driving forklift.</li><li>Previous computer knowledge or experience.</li><li>Career Readiness Certification</li></ul><p>SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: &nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Read, write, perform mathematical calculations, understand verbal or written instructions, provide verbal or written information to others, work continuous shift if requested, work scheduled or unscheduled overtime if requested, maintain a good attendance and punctuality record, follow all safety rules and maintain housekeeping in area of responsibility, work well with others, and distinguish colors correctly.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Requires lifting of weights up to 60# on a daily basis. &nbsp;Requires occasional bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling.The job has occasional sitting for paperwork. &nbsp;</p><p>COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>OJT - Will use company systems &ndash; SAP</p><p><br></p><p>SCOPE OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><p>This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) incumbent in this position. &nbsp;Employee(s) will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties requested by any person authorized to give instructions or assignments.</p><p>A review of this position has excluded the marginal functions of the position that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. &nbsp;All duties and responsibilities are essential job functions and requirements and are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities. &nbsp;To perform this job successfully, the incumbent(s) will possess the skills, aptitudes, and abilities to perform each duty proficiently. &nbsp;Some requirements may exclude individuals who pose a direct threat or significant risk to the health or safety of themselves or others. &nbsp;The requirements listed in this document are the minimum levels of knowledge, skills, or abilities.</p><p>This document does not create an employment contract, implied or otherwise, other than an &ldquo;at will&rdquo; relationship.</p><p><br></p></div>\n",
