Key Job Responsibilities include:
Supervise front-end team members, assign duties, monitor performance, and support training to ensure efficient checkout operations and strong customer service.
Oversee cashiering standards, cash handling, till balancing, refunds, voids, and related front-end controls to maintain accuracy and minimize loss.
Respond to customer inquiries, service issues, and escalated concerns in a prompt, professional manner while supporting a welcoming and member-focused store environment.
Prepare schedules, coordinate staffing levels, support store opening and closing routines, and collaborate with store leadership to maintain service levels and operational readiness.
Maintain front-end housekeeping, merchandising standards, promotional execution, and compliance with safety, policy, and loss prevention requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Other Requirements:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent is required.
Post-secondary coursework in business, retail operations, or customer service is an asset.
2-3 years of progressively responsible retail experience, including cash handling and customer service responsibilities.
Previous experience leading, coaching, or scheduling staff in a grocery, food, or retail environment is preferred.
Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems, cash controls, and basic computer applications.
Current food handling, WHMIS, or other store-required safety training is an asset.
Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Communication & Interpersonal – to enable effective employee relations, vendor negotiations, community engagement, and customer interactions.

Organizational and Multitasking - to manage multiple departments, shifting priorities, and fast‑paced operational changes.
