As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.</span></p>\n<p class=\"MsoListParagraph\" style=\"margin-left: 0.95pt;\"><strong>Job responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems</li>\n <li>Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others</li>\n <li>Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems</li>\n <li>Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture</li>\n <li>\n  <p>Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies</p>\n  <p>&nbsp;</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p class=\"MsoListParagraph\" style=\"margin-left: 0.95pt;\"><strong>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience</li>\n <li>Strong hands-on Java development experience with Spring Boot</li>\n <li>Proven experience designing and building microservices architectures (REST APIs, service decomposition, patterns)</li>\n <li>Expertise in building resilient, scalable applications (fault tolerance, retries/timeouts, circuit breakers, idempotency, graceful degradation)</li>\n <li>Solid understanding of distributed systems (consistency, messaging/event-driven patterns, observability)</li>\n <li>AWS experience (core services, deployment/operations, security basics)</li>\n <li>Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and production support best practices (monitoring, logging, tracing)</li>\n <li>Strong design skills: system design, technical documentation, code reviews, and mentor</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (producers/consumers, topics/partitions, consumer groups, offsets)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<div>\n &nbsp;\n</div>",
