Candidates without current licensure will not be considered.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">About the Role</span></p>\n<p>FEI is seeking a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">licensed Professional Land Surveyor</span> to serve as a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Survey Project Manager</span> supporting land development projects. This role combines technical oversight, project management, and leadership of survey teams while maintaining strong client and regulatory relationships.</p>\n<p>This is a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">licensed professional role</span> with responsibility for survey quality, field coordination, project performance, and client delivery.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage and oversee land development surveying projects from field data through final deliverables</li>\n<li>Analyze field data and research to prepare:\n<ul>\n<li>Boundary surveys</li>\n<li>ALTA/NSPS and loan surveys</li>\n<li>Plot plans, as-builts, and final plats</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Interpret engineering drawings and coordinate survey points and grading for field staking</li>\n<li>Prepare complete survey packages, maps, and files for survey crews</li>\n<li>Serve as the technical resource for survey crews and office staff</li>\n<li>Schedule and manage multiple survey crews to maximize utilization and efficiency</li>\n<li>Ensure accountability for survey equipment, vehicles, and maintenance</li>\n<li>Coordinate effectively with engineers, regulators, and other technical staff</li>\n<li>Identify project opportunities and support business development efforts</li>\n<li>Assist with project scoping, budgets, schedules, billing, and time tracking</li>\n<li>Attend client, municipal, and agency meetings as required</li>\n<li>Promote ethics, safety, teamwork, and FEI corporate goals</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Required Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Active North Carolina Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license or Surveyor Intern (SI) certification</span></li>\n<li>Minimum of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">3 years of land development surveying experience</span></li>\n<li>Proficiency with AutoCAD and Carlson in a surveying environment</li>\n<li>Experience with Topcon and/or Leica survey equipment and data collectors</li>\n<li>Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills</li>\n<li>Valid North Carolina Driver’s License</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Preferred Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Associate’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field</li>\n<li>Experience with Ajera or similar project/financial management software</li>\n<li>Prior experience managing multiple crews or office survey staff</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Work Environment &amp; Schedule</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Office-based position</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mon–Thu: 7:30am–5:30pm | Fri: 7:30am–11:30am</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Why FEI</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relationship-driven consulting culture</li>\n<li>Leadership role with real technical authority</li>\n<li>Stable workload with predictable scheduling</li>\n<li>Opportunity to lead and grow within FEI’s surveying practice</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Pre-Employment Requirement</span></p>\n<p>All candidates receiving an offer must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening per FEI Health and Safety requirements.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">🚫 Recruiter Notice</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Direct applicants only.
