If you’re passionate about mechanics and eager to contribute to meaningful projects while growing your career within a supportive and safety-focused team, we want to hear from you! </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Disassemble and reassemble components such as engines, transmissions, cooling systems, fuel and exhaust systems, breaks, clutches, differentials, hydraulics, electrical systems and lubrication systems  </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Inspect and test to detect faults and malfunctions in drill units, diesel compressors, hydraulic support equipment, high pressure water pumps </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Perform duties that range from routine preventative maintenance to repairing major breakdowns, including troubleshooting and diagnostics  </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Contributing to the development of apprentices and working as part of a team to accomplish maintenance goals and targets. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Service attachments and working tools </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Verify and repair emission control systems </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Professional Experience / Qualifications</span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">5 + years of experience with industrial heavy equipment including hydraulic equipment, diesel engines and compressors, high-pressure water pumps, drill units, diesel trucks, crawlers, and pumps </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Ability to diligently organize work, make decisions, and set priorities </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Valid driver's license </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Previous experience working on drilling equipment is an asset.  </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Strong interpersonal skills </span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Schedule: </span><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Monday to Friday with possibility for overtime. </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education</span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">High School Diploma or equivalent.  </span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must be a licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic (Journeyman).</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Interprovincial trade qualifications in Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanics (Red Seal Certification) preferred. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compensation</span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">$40 to $47/hr based on experience </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>",
