    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p><img src=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/cccustom/Client/Recruitment/emu%20logo_f1f15875-d96d-4f89-bb81-67b4f54112bf.jpg\" style=\"width: 300px;\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dib fr-fil\"></p><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>POSITION:</strong> Adjunct Aviation Instructor &ndash; Bachelor of Science in Leadership &amp; Organizational Management with Aviation Concentration</p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>A master&rsquo;s degree or above in a related field is preferred;&nbsp;</li><li>Extensive relevant professional aviation experience may substitute for a graduate degree;</li><li>This role is ideal for individuals passionate about combining aviation expertise with leadership and organizational management education.</li><li><br></li></ul><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong> To serve as an adjunct aviation instructor in the Leadership &amp; Organizational Management with Aviation Concentration program. This is contracted on a term-by-term basis, teaching a course load not to exceed 17 semester hours per calendar year, and including the following duties:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Develop and manage course content in one of the following areas:<ul type=\"circle\"><li>AVIA 120 Aircraft Systems</li></ul></li><li>Coordinate curriculum with the Director of Aviation;</li><li>Conduct in-person instruction and online sessions when necessary, ensuring engagement in advanced aviation topics;</li><li>Assess and evaluate student performance based on industry standards and academic expectations;</li><li>Follow EMU&#39;s academic policies, procedures, and term schedules;</li><li>Participate in faculty development events to remain current in aviation education and leadership methodologies.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>POSITION DETAILS:</strong> Faculty are contracted on a per-course basis. Salary is commensurate with the highest degree level obtained.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>APPOINTMENT DATE:</strong> Spring 2026 (January).
