The Officer detects suspicious behavior and prevents vandalism, theft, and other criminal or disruptive behavior. The Officer uses a trauma informed approach and de-escalation skills while inspiring respect and authority and enforces all safety and security protocols to ensure a safe and positive environment.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Essential Functions</strong></u></p><ul><li>Patrols assigned location regularly to maintain order and a safe environment</li><li>Monitors and authorizes the entrance of vehicles or people to the property</li><li>Escorts trespassers from the area</li><li>Secures all exits, doors, and windows at the close of business</li><li>Reviews surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts</li><li>Investigates suspicious activity or possessions</li><li>Responds to alarms, assesses the situation, and investigates as necessary</li><li>Provides supportive assistance and de-escalation to clients/people in need</li><li>Submits daily reports of surveillance activity and critical incidents</li></ul><p><br></p>",
