We strive to make <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SRT</span> a rewarding and challenging place to work, where talented, hard-working individuals have the opportunity to make a real impact across the marine industry.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Role overview of our <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Electrical Systems Project Engineer</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Electrical Systems Project Engineer </span>to provide in-person and remote support to our field installation teams and subcontractors.  Your role as an <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Electrical Systems Project Engineer </span>will be to create, review and check electrical installation schematics and plans for a wide variety of equipment ranging from a maritime surveillance radar to a genset or CCTV security and building monitoring systems, along with hands-on electrical installation configurations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(224, 62, 45); font-weight: bold\">Please note</span>: The role of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Electrical Systems Project Engineer </span>is a role where you will travel globally for our projects, whether this is the Middle East, Far East, South East Asia, Africa’s region – you will be expected to travel and live in country with an agreed rotation period up to 12 weeks in-country, 2 weeks home. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities </span>(not exhaustive):</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review and approve proposed electrical installation configurations for a variety of equipment that rely upon electrical utility and power systems</li>\n<li>Physically oversee and or undertake installations with a “hands-on” approach and involvement</li>\n<li>Train and coach field engineering teams to ensure high quality and consistent workmanship</li>\n<li>Help build and maintain standard work procedures and standards</li>\n<li>Review equipment installations, identify issues and propose / rectify remedial work</li>\n<li>Where relevant, deeply understand equipment installation and configuration requirements to enable correct commissioning</li>\n<li>Ensure all installations comply with technical standards, safety protocols, and project specifications</li>\n<li>Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of all integrated systems</li>\n<li>Document installation procedures and generate detailed reports for project stakeholders</li>\n<li>Help to devise and define long term maintenance programs that ensure systems and equipment are operate optimally and reliably</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL</span> - Qualification: Time served apprenticeship or QBE with holding a minimum 17th Edition</li>\n<li>Proven experience in electrical installations – for example integrated CCTV and building monitoring systems, building power systems and or communication towers</li>\n<li>Strong understanding of electrical standards, safety regulations, and networking fundamentals</li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, server rack layouts, and technical drawings, schematics, standards and specifications</li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail</li>\n<li>Mobile Platforms (e.g. onboard vessels, mobile command units, aerospace)</li>\n<li>Appreciation of cultural differences in overseas territories and ability to communicate well with overseas colleagues</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The role encompasses both our MDA System and the physical building electrical infrastructure.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Benefits of the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Electrical Systems Project Engineer</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Highly competitive salary, fantastic accommodation and flights IAW company policy</li>\n<li>Matched company pension contributions up to 5%</li>\n<li>Development opportunities</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SRT Marine Systems plc</span> are an equal opportunity employer.
