    "description": "<p><span>Behavioral Health Associates (BHA) is an educational organization.  We offer an academic learning environment integrated with behavior support services for students diagnosed with emotional/behavioral disorders to empower the students in overcoming challenges and creating new stories in their lives.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p>We currently have an opening for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at our SAIL Program at Polk Academy.  </p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">JOB GOAL</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works with students individually and in small groups and is responsible for behavior-analytic interventions to reduce problem behavior, remediation of skill deficits, and daily paperwork and behavioral date recording.  BHT’s/RBT's help with classroom management, de-escalation of problem behaviors, problem solving skills training, supporting academic and behavior goals; and supervising activities of daily living.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Implement continuous measurement procedures (e.g., frequency, duration).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Implement discontinuous measurement procedures (e.g., partial &amp; whole interval, momentary time sampling).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Implement permanent product recording procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Describe behavior and the environment in observable and measurable terms.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Conduct preference assessments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Identify the essential components of a written skill acquisition plan.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Prepare for the session as required by the skill acquisition plan.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Use contingencies of reinforcement (e.g., conditioned/unconditioned reinforcement, continuous/intermittent schedules).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Implement generalization and maintenance procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Assist with the training of stakeholders (e.g., family, caregivers, other professionals).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Implement written behavior reduction plan.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Complete clinical notes and other tasks necessary for billing purposes using CentralReach.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Describe common functions of behavior.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Implement extinction procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Implement crisis/emergency procedures according to protocol.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Implement interventions based on modification of antecedents such as motivating/establishing operations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Implement differential reinforcement procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Implement discrete trial teaching procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Naturalistic teaching procedures (e.g., incidental teaching).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Create and provide instruction using task analysis and chaining procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Implement discrimination training and stimulus control transfer procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Implement stimulus fading and prompt fading procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Generate objective session notes by describing what occurred during sessions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Report other variables that might affect the client’s behavior (e.g., illness, relocation, medication).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Respond appropriately to feedback and maintain or improve performance accordingly.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: 'Lato',sans-serif\">Maintain professional boundaries (e.g., avoid dual relationships, conflicts of interest and abstain from social media contacts).</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">QUALIFICATIONS</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Preferred 1-2 years’ experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other </span>developmental disabilities.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must have a high school diploma or GED;</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must be willing to obtain and maintain the qualifications of Registered Behavior Technician </span>certification.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Must have updated child abuse and FBI clearances, criminal background check and have </span>completed the mandated reporter training.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: #2d2d2d;
