A supervisor is also responsible for coaching, resolving issues and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management. The goal is to ensure that operations are carried out productively to ensure profitability and sustain growth.</p>\n<p>This position will travel between service areas near <strong>Longwood, FL</strong>. Requires the ability to respond 24 hours a day to various situations.</p>\n<p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated&nbsp;tasks&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching&nbsp;</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Receive complaints and resolve problems&nbsp;</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Maintain timekeeping and personnel records&nbsp;</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa&nbsp;</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Prepare and submit performance reports&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Decide on reward and promotion based on performance&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Hire and train new employees&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake&nbsp;disciplinary actions if the need arises&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What You'll Bring</strong></p>\n<p>Experience</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proven experience as supervisor or relevant role&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines of the field&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to learn a variety of job descriptions&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Outstanding organizational and leadership skills&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Education, Certification and Licenses</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Diploma/Certificate in first line management or relevant field&nbsp;</li>\n <li>High school diploma; BSc/BA in management or relevant discipline will be considered&nbsp;an advantage&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency with MS Word and Excel</li>\n <li>Ability to supervise skilled and unskilled employees effectively, including ability to mentor, evaluate and guide staff in the development of skills and ability, improve morale and maximize efficiency.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the general public, co-workers, regulatory agencies and their personnel.</li>\n <li>Ability to coach employees objectively through complex, difficult and emotional issues.</li>\n <li>Ability to implement recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law.</li>\n <li>Ability to delegate responsibility and authority to maximize use of employees’ skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to keep accurate records and prepare and submit accurate reports.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.</li>\n <li>Ability to provide for safe working conditions for fellow workers.</li>\n <li>Ability to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to understand and implement a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates proven ability to motivate others in the pursuit of Company goals.</li>\n <li>Cell phone, laptop, tablet, Trimble unit, water distribution equipment and machinery including pumps, valve exerciser, pipe locator and other maintenance equipment; operate a Company-issued motor vehicle.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Moderate to heavy physical demands, including lifting (75 lbs.), walking (10+ miles daily), climbing and mechanical repair.<br>\n  &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About Our Company</strong></p>\n<p>We are a proud Equal Opportunity Employer.
