    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Business Intelligence Developer</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Charton Hobbs Group<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Charton Hobbs Group is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence and analytics solutions in a data-rich environment, primarily within the Microsoft Fabric (Power BI) ecosystem.<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Working closely with business intelligence analysts and the change management team, this role is responsible for delivering high-quality data models, reporting, dashboards, and insights across the organization. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions while ensuring performance, reliability, and data integrity.<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Partner with national and regional business analysts and BI stakeholders to define reporting requirements and develop effective BI solutions</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models to support self-service analytics</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Build and optimize data acquisition and transformation workflows (ETL/ELT pipelines)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Support ongoing enhancements and operations of the data warehouse environment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions in collaboration with BI analysts</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Provide second-level support for existing BI tools and solutions</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Contribute to Agile processes, including sprint planning, progress updates, and documentation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Research and implement best practices, tools, and methodologies for BI development</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Support user enablement, including documentation and training as required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries and reporting definitions</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br>What Will Make You Successful</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">You bring strong technical expertise across data architecture, data modeling, and analytics, combined with a collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset.<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance, and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br>Qualifications &amp; Experience</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Minimum of 5 years of experience in data modeling and BI development</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong experience with tabular data models, DAX, and data transformation techniques</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Advanced SQL skills, including analytical functions and data warehousing concepts</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Proficiency with Microsoft BI tools (Power BI, SQL, SSIS) and the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline development</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge of software development practices and version control (e.g., Git)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Bilingualism (French and English, written and spoken) is required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience with Azure Synapse, Data Factory, or Microsoft Power Platform is considered an asset</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br>About Charton Hobbs Group</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Charton Hobbs Group is one of Canada’s leading alcoholic beverage organizations, recognized for its long-term, brand-building approach and strong industry partnerships.<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">As a family-owned business with offices across Canada and over 200 employees, we continue to grow and invest in data, analytics, and automation to support our evolving business needs and maintain our leadership position in the industry.<br><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Additional Information</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The above information is intended to describe the general nature of the work performed in this role and is not an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities.
