Located 30 minutes south of Salt Lake City International Airport, we provide trauma‑informed, individualized care in a structured therapeutic setting.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking a <strong>Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)</strong> to provide onsite, non‑emergent medical care for adolescents in our residential programs.</p>\n<p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide <strong>low‑acuity medical care</strong> and <strong>admissions H&Ps.</strong></li>\n <li>Independent practice within a structured, collaborative residential environment.</li>\n <li><strong>Weekdays only (no weekends are required).</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Part‑time or full‑time flexibility.</strong></li>\n <li>Onsite role (no call).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Facility Highlights</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>197‑bed adolescent residential treatment center.</strong></li>\n <li>Populations include mood disorders, trauma, autism spectrum, substance abuse, and chemical dependency.</li>\n <li>Trauma‑informed, phase‑based treatment model.</li>\n <li>Stable, experienced medical leadership and interdisciplinary support.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assess and treat minor illnesses and injuries (rashes, infections, ingrown toenails, common illnesses).</li>\n <li>Complete medical histories and physicals for new admissions.</li>\n <li>Prescribe medications within scope.</li>\n <li>Order and review labs and X‑rays as needed.</li>\n <li>Identify conditions requiring outside care and coordinate referrals.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with clinical and residential staff.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of an accredited <strong>Family Nurse Practitioner</strong> program.</li>\n <li>Active <strong>Utah APRN license</strong> (or ability to obtain).</li>\n <li><strong>1–2 years post‑graduate clinical experience</strong> preferred (primary care, pediatrics, urgent care, or adolescent health).</li>\n <li>Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Comfort working with adolescent behavioral health populations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why This Role</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Predictable weekday schedule with no weekends and only occasional call.</li>\n <li>Meaningful work with the adolescent population.</li>\n <li>Supportive leadership and well‑established medical team.</li>\n <li>Mission‑driven, trauma‑informed environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Copper Hills Youth Center, www.copperhillsyouthcenter.com, is owned and operated by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc.
