    "requisitionDescription": "<p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>General Responsibilities:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for supporting operations of Wastewater Pretreatment System (WWTS). The candidate must be able to accurately follow written procedures, written and verbal instructions, make-up required chemistry for the WWTS and all Plating and Metal Finishing solutions.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Shifts:&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">1<sup>st</sup> 5:30 am &ndash; 3:00 pm, Monday &ndash; Friday&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Duties:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist in operating Waste Water Pre-Treatment System (WI3117)</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: square;margin-left: 0.5in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain WWTS chemistry&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Calibrate all WWTS probes and meters</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain and dehydrate F006 sludge</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform batch chemical treatments as necessary</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain all WWTS and Plating pumps and equipment</li></ul></div><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain daily WWTS records&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Complete EO and Dept 15 Plating PM&rsquo;s as assigned</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with inventory, requisition, receipt, deliveries and storage of all chemicals</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ready wastes for shipments, including Age Controlled Lab Packs</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide Chemical support to GWL facilities&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Member of HAZMAT Team</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Member of Emergency Response Team ESRP 21.01.02</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist to maintain chemical storage and safety (Chemical Storage Procedure)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Refill solvent containers as needed/daily</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conduct periodic RCRA Inspections including used batteries and aerosol can recycling and maintenance&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Successful candidate must be a team-oriented person with good communication skills and must be able to excel at:</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to communicate verbally, read and write in English</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Show high level of job-related knowledge within 6 months in position</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Accurately interpret WWTS procedures and work instructions</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide feedback on issues and changes</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Is dependable and follows set attendance policies</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Be aware of surrounding area to maintain safe and organized environment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work in team setting to complete multiple task and goals as assigned</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Shows good communication, listening and teamwork within Plating and all GW Lisk departments</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Willingness and ability to learn&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong attention to detail</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to stand, walk on uneven surfaces, bend, twist, reach overhead and climb stairs</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Willingness to work in a production work environment which requires supplied chemical resistant work clothes and personal protective equipment.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Some chemistry background</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong mechanical aptitude&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong math skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Good organizational skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Tow Motor Operator or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience in a manufacturing environment or 2-3 years of Waste Treatment experience&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Demands</strong>:</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. and move 500 lbs. with cart and/or assisting equipment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to wear company supplied required work uniforms, safety glasses, gloves, apron and other PPE as required or directed</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to wear a respirator and obtain medical clearance for respirator use.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">GW Lisk is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
