Description

SHINE Technologies is seeking a Senior Director, Corporate FP&A to serve as a senior strategic finance leader and trusted business partner to SHINE’s executive leadership team. This role owns and drives the company’s enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, and internal reporting processes, while also playing a critical role in the design, development, and evolution of SHINE’s financial systems and planning infrastructure. The Senior Director is the primary steward of the forecasting calendar and all management reporting deliverables, ensuring leadership has timely, accurate, and actionable financial information. The Senior Director will translate complex financial data into clear, executive-ready insights, support strategic decision-making across the organization, and build scalable processes, tools, and systems that support SHINE’s continued growth, operational complexity, and long-term strategic objectives. This role also serves as a key finance partner for Board meeting preparation, investor relations activities, and ad hoc executive analyses. The base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $215,000 per year plus a comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Duties and Responsibilities: Financial Planning, Forecasting & Analysis Own and drive SHINE’s enterprise-wide forecasting process, including the annual operating budget, long-range financial plan, and all periodic reforecasts — establishing the forecasting calendar, setting standards for inputs, and holding the organization accountable to deadlines and quality. Partner with executive leadership and department heads to align financial plans with strategic, operational, and capital priorities. Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models that support business planning, scenario analysis, investment evaluation, and strategic initiatives. Review and analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, identify key drivers and variances, and communicate insights to senior leadership and the Board as appropriate. Own internal financial reporting end-to-end — including monthly and quarterly management reporting packages, executive dashboards, and KPI scorecards — ensuring reports are accurate, timely, and presented in a manner that clearly communicates performance, key drivers, and variances to senior leadership. Financial Systems & Process Leadership Serve as a key finance lead in the development, enhancement, and optimization of SHINE’s financial planning, reporting, and analytics systems. Partner closely with Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment between financial systems (e.g., ERP, planning tools) and FP&A processes. Drive improvements to data integrity, reporting automation, and system-enabled insights to support scalability and efficiency. Contribute to the development of a financial systems and planning roadmap that supports SHINE’s growth, complexity, and public-company readiness. Business Partnership & Strategic Support Act as a strategic advisor to leaders across the organization, providing financial insight to support operational, investment, and resource-allocation decisions. Lead ad hoc analyses and special projects, including cost structure evaluations, business cases, and strategic initiatives. Lead Board meeting preparation from an FP&A perspective — owning the development of financial narratives, Board materials, and supporting analyses that clearly communicate company performance, forecast, and strategic priorities to the Board of Directors. Support investor relations activities by preparing financial analyses, earnings materials, and investor-facing data packages in close coordination with the CFO and IR function; serve as a key resource for investor inquiries requiring financial modeling or data interpretation. Drive high-quality ad hoc financial analysis in support of executive decision-making, including business case development, scenario modeling, M&A evaluation support, cost structure assessments, and other strategic initiatives as prioritized by the CFO.
