    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p>\n<p>Under the supervision of the Senior Chef de Partie, this position is responsible for the cleanliness of all kitchen areas, culinary equipment and utensils including all dishes, glasses and pots/pans while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees.</p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Organizes, rinses, sprays and loads dishes/cutlery into dishwasher or washes by hand as required&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Checks completed load for cleanliness and re-wash if necessary&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Reports any malfunctions, breakage or discrepancies to the supervisor&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Stores all clean items in the appropriate area&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Sorts and removes garbage and recycling&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Cleans all general kitchen areas including floors, counters and workspaces&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Assists with the receipt of goods into the work area and stock shelves&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Prepares some food products as requested&nbsp;</li>\n <li>May clean general and common areas in some locations&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and employees)&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned or directed.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Qualification Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 11.5 kg or 25 lbs)</li>\n <li>Must be able to communicate effectively</li>\n <li>Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment; and</li>\n <li>Must have a safety mindset for self and others.</li>\n <li>High School Diploma&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to exceed internal customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Minimum 6 months work experience&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Bilingual (English/French) is an asset but not required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment Considerations</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work within a 24/7 operation with ability to work flexible hours when required (days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays)</li>\n <li>Willing to submit to a criminal record check with results acceptable to our organization, standards and position</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Great Canadian Entertainment&nbsp;is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion and we welcome all qualified applicants to apply to join our team of unique contributors.
