Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team as a consultant. In this role, you will work on high-impact projects for one of the largest retail companies in the Netherlands, contributing to the development of scalable data and infrastructure solutions.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and thrives in collaborative environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable data and infrastructure solutions
Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions
Translate business needs into robust technical implementations
Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of data systems
Identify opportunities to improve existing systems and processes
Provide clear insights into technical decisions and their business value
requirements
Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) , particularly Terraform
Solid background in data engineering and infrastructure design
Experience working in product-driven environments
Ability to work independently in a remote setup
Soft Skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
Proactive, “can-do” attitude with out-of-the-box thinking
Focus on delivering value and practical solutions
Positive and constructive approach to teamwork
