We provide: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive health benefits that start day 1 </li>\n <li>Student Loan Repayment Assistance & Reimbursement Programs </li>\n <li>Family-focused benefits  </li>\n <li>Wellness incentives </li>\n <li>Ongoing mentorship, <em>development, </em>and leadership programs  </li>\n <li>And more  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Location: </strong>Atlanta, GA</p>\n<h2>Description</h2>\n<p><strong>OVERVIEW:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Plans, directs, and evaluates a wide variety of nutritional care systems for the Food and Nutrition Services Department for Emory Hospitals.</li>\n <li> Develops and manages clinical nutrition and dietetic internship budget. </li>\n <li>Establishes and monitors quality measures within clinical nutrition and the dietetic internship. </li>\n <li>Participates in interdisciplinary, enterprise/system-wide, hospital-wide and departmental committees. </li>\n <li>Oversees development of education materials and programs for physicians, medical residents, and allied health professionals. </li>\n <li>Participates in developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures in accordance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines. </li>\n <li>Assists in the development and maintenance of departmental and hospital information systems.</li>\n <li> Collaborates with the Executive Chef and others regarding menu planning. </li>\n <li>Generates, evaluates, and creates care plans and reports utilizing nutrition care metrics to capture revenue. </li>\n <li>Manages staff and employees. </li>\n <li>Determines staffing needs, interviews and hires staff. </li>\n <li>Provides on-going performance feedback, addresses problems, orients and trains employees, verifies competency and identifies and suggests ways to develop skills. </li>\n <li>Determines disciplinary, termination and salary actions. </li>\n <li>Completes other clinical management duties as assigned. </li>\n <li>Directs all aspects of the dietetic internship program to ensure maintenance of the Accreditation Council for Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) standards. </li>\n <li>Assesses, plans, evaluates, and revises the program to ensure interns achieve required competencies. </li>\n <li>Coordinates rotations, including creating and managing schedules in clinical nutrition, food service, community and enrichment experiences at Emory Hospitals and a variety of other facilities. </li>\n <li>Establishes a Dietetic Internship Advisory Committee to determine future trends in dietetics. </li>\n <li>Promotes the national recognition of the Emory University Hospital Dietetic Internship through marketing, presentations, and attendance at national, regional, and local meetings.</li>\n <li> Leads student recruitment, advisement, evaluation and counseling.</li>\n <li> Facilitates the implementation of contractual agreements to support intern experiences at external sites. </li>\n <li>Handles all reports, communication and tasks to maintain program accreditation.</li>\n <li> Reviews rotation evaluations and ensures required competencies are met by each intern to support eligibility for a Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) credentialing exam. </li>\n <li>Responsible for the following: \n  <ul>\n   <li>timely submission of fees</li>\n   <li> reports and requests for major program changes; maintenance of the program student records, including student advising plans and verification statements; maintenance of complaints about the program received from students or others, including disposition of the complaint; on-going review of program curriculum to meet the accreditation standards; communication and coordination with program faculty</li>\n   <li>preceptors and others involved with the program; facilitation of processes for continuous program evaluation and student learning outcomes assessment;
