They may stand for long periods of time while also having to bend, crawl, or lay on their backs when making repairs. Field Mechanics frequently lift objects weighing 50-pounds unassisted and move heavier items (over 50 pounds) with assistance of devices. Field Service Technicians will service machines both in the shop and outside the shop at customer locations.&nbsp;</span></p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif\">&bull;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Working Conditions: Field Mechanics perform work both in the shop and out at customer locations.
