As a Staff Engineer, you’ll develop your skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment while contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality, sustainable projects.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Why Join Us?</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li><em>Be part of a dynamic, intelligent team that values innovation and continuous learning.</em></li>\n <li><em>Work on diverse and challenging projects that will expand your expertise.</em></li>\n <li><em>Enjoy opportunities for professional growth and development.</em></li>\n <li><em>Contribute to impactful projects with a leader in the geotechnical and built civil engineering environment.</em></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepares, checks, and reviews of working plans, detail drawings, and specifications for layout and construction of site layout, foundations, structural steel, and underground utilities while under the direct supervision of the Senior Engineering manager, project engineer, or project managers</li>\n <li>Development of 2D and 3D construction/layout drawings for site grading/drainage/permit drawingsCoordinate Civil and Structural designs with Mechanical and Electrical / I&C disciplinesReview and compare Civil / Structural subcontractor drawings against base models for accuracy and completeness</li>\n <li>Makes any adjustments or changes necessary or desired</li>\n <li>Maintain or develop new project drawing files for all related drawings in accordance with company standards and procedures</li>\n <li>Understand and follow standard CAD practices and procedures</li>\n <li>Uses (CAD) equipment and software. Proficient in both 2D & 3D CAD drafting as well as AutoCAD Civil3D</li>\n <li>While this position is primarily a CAD position, exposure to the following will be beneficial: Field survey, Site Plan Development, Construction Layout, Geological Map Interpretation, and Presentation</li>\n <li>Will be working in a collaborative environment made up of Geotechnical, Civil, and Geologic engineers and designers.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Specific Knowledge & Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D Design software</li>\n <li>MS Excel Spreadsheet software</li>\n <li>MS Word Processing software</li>\n <li>GIS software is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education and/or Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>1-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Civil Engineering, or a master's or focus in geotechnical engineering</li>\n <li>EIT or working towards PE license</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The pay range for this California position is $35.00 - $45.00 per hour. Base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>All local employment laws apply.
