Join us in making a real difference in the health of our community.</em></p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p><strong>Position title:</strong> Supervising Physician – Dermatology (Remote)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position summary:</strong> Essen Health Care is seeking an experienced and collaborative Supervising Dermatology Physician (MD/DO) to provide remote clinical oversight and supervision for Physician Assistants (PAs) within our growing Dermatology department. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, supporting clinical decision-making, maintaining compliance with New York State supervision requirements, and fostering a culture of clinical excellence across the Dermatology team.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is a board-certified Dermatologist with strong leadership skills, a passion for mentorship, and experience working in fast-paced outpatient healthcare environments.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide remote clinical supervision and oversight for Dermatology Physician Assistants in accordance with New York State regulations and organizational policies</li>\n <li>Review, advise, and collaborate with PAs regarding patient care plans, treatment protocols, and clinical documentation</li>\n <li>Be available for clinical consultation and guidance during designated business hours</li>\n <li>Conduct periodic chart reviews and ensure compliance with quality assurance standards</li>\n <li>Support clinical best practices, patient safety initiatives, and evidence-based dermatologic care</li>\n <li>Participate in departmental meetings, provider education, and quality improvement initiatives</li>\n <li>Assist with onboarding, mentoring, and ongoing development of Dermatology PAs</li>\n <li>Collaborate with operational and clinical leadership to optimize workflows and patient outcomes</li>\n <li>Ensure timely completion of supervisory documentation and regulatory requirements</li>\n <li>Promote a positive, team-oriented environment aligned with Essen Health Care’s mission and values</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school</li>\n <li>Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology</li>\n <li>Active and unrestricted New York State Medical License</li>\n <li>DEA license and CDS registration, if applicable</li>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years of clinical Dermatology experience preferred</li>\n <li>Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred</li>\n <li>Strong communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills</li>\n <li>Comfortable working in a remote supervision model within a multidisciplinary healthcare organization</li>\n <li>Experience with EMR systems preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Schedule</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Remote position</li>\n <li>Flexible schedule based on departmental and supervisory needs</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>\n<h2><strong><em>Essen Health care is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically diverse population</em></strong></h2>",
