Capitol Terminals offers competitive pay (Up to $31.00/hr) and benefits, as listed below, and is seeking Drivers with strong customer service skills for full-time positions. </span><span>Job purpose: </span><span>Primary responsibility of this position requires safely driving a tractor-trailer for the transportation of gravel and like materials, attention to safe loading and unloading at a variety of job sites and maintaining a clean truck both inside and out. </span></p>\n<p><span>Duties and responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections</span></li>\n<li><span>Safely driving truck to and from destination applying knowledge of DOT driving regulations and area roads</span></li>\n<li><span>Handling truck controls for safe loading and unloading of material</span></li>\n<li><span>Verify directions with plant personnel before leaving the plant to ensure delivery to the correct customer and job site</span></li>\n<li><span>Strive to meet customer expectations without exception</span></li>\n<li><span>Keep equipment in acceptable condition of cleanliness using approved cleaning materials and supplies</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintain contact with supervisor/dispatch to receive and transmit delivery instructions</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist other company employees as needed</span></li>\n<li><span>Must be able to take orders, instructions, and guidance from supervisors and management</span></li>\n<li><span>Cooperate and promote a team concept with all other company employees, as well as customers</span></li>\n<li><span>Adhere to all Company, DOT, and OSHA. rules and regulations at all times</span></li>\n<li><span>Meet or exceed company safety standards</span></li>\n<li><span>Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Must possess a valid CDL Class A with doubles endorsement</span></li>\n<li><span>1 year of prior gravel train experience</span></li>\n<li><span>Must have a clean driving record in the last 5 years and maintain a clean driving record during employment</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen</span></li>\n<li><span>High School diploma, preferred</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>Benefits:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Competitive Wages (Up to $31.00/hr)</span></li>\n<li><span>Health Insurance for employee and family with up to 100% premium contribution from employer and Health Savings Account matching program (available after 30 days)</span></li>\n<li><span>Employer paid Group Term Life Insurance for employee (available after 30 days)</span></li>\n<li><span>Employer paid Supplemental Accident, Disability and Critical Illness Insurance for employee (available after 90 days)</span></li>\n<li><span>Employee paid Dental and Vision Insurance</span></li>\n<li><span>Employer reimbursement for Sam's Club Card</span></li>\n<li><span>Holiday pay after 30 days of service</span></li>\n<li><span>Paid time off</span></li>\n<li><span>401(k) with Employer Match Contribution after 6 months</span></li>\n<li><span>Employer paid Medical Certification Renewal</span></li>\n</ul>",
