    "requisitionDescription": "<p><strong>POSITION INFORMATION: BASIC DETAILS</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Travel Requirement</strong>: Yes &ndash; Deployed Position</p><p><strong>Teleworking</strong>: No</p><p><strong>Full-Time/Part-Time</strong>: Full-Time</p><p><strong>FLSA Status</strong>: Exempt</p><p><strong>Pay Range</strong>: $20-30/hr</p><p>*Pay is based on numerous factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY INFORMATION: DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong>: The Fire Pod maintenance Tech (FPMT) supports the Fire Pod by ensuring all equipment remains operational by conducting preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting issues. The FPMT deploys with the Fire Pod to remote field locations.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:</p><ul><li>The FPMT will Diagnose and complete basic repairs of commercial kitchen appliances inside trailers, including gas/electric ovens, fryers, griddles, warmers, and ventilation hoods.</li><li>Service, troubleshoot, and repair transport refrigeration units to ensure precise temperature control for food safety compliance.</li><li>Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on diesel and gas generators, including oil changes, filter replacements, voltage regulation, and connecting equipment to generators.</li><li>Maintain on-board freshwater delivery pumps, gray-water drainage, handwash sinks, propane gas lines, and regulators.</li><li>Assist with Fire Pod mobilization, set up, tear down, and demobilization of all equipment.</li><li>Fuel generators as necessary.</li><li>Ensures compliance with all contracts, performance work statements, working instructions, etc.</li><li>Ensure all equipment is serviced and functional while on standby.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong>:</p><ul><li>Experience with deployment, setup/installation, and operation of shower trailers, restroom trailers, kitchen trailers, laundry trailers, or similar mobile emergency trailer equipment.</li><li>Ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and Government representatives.</li><li>Ability to operate in hot and cold environments, as well as post-disaster environments.</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize competing requirements.</li><li>Basic electrical knowledge, the ability to diagnose and fix issues.</li><li>Experience with generators (6kW-500kW) and generator connections.</li><li>Knowledge of and experience with electrical tools, plumbing tools, general construction tools, and jobsite safety equipment.</li><li>Basic plumbing knowledge, the ability to diagnose and fix issues with sinks, faucets, water connections, toilets, water heater (tank/tankless), and propane gas connections.</li><li>Experience loading trailers for transport.</li><li>Clean driving record: the ability to drive/operate various vehicles including full size dually trucks and 26&rsquo; box trucks (Non CDL).</li><li>Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Education, Certifications, Licenses, and Experience</strong>:</p><ul><li>Experience working in a field / non-standard environment.</li><li>Experience with forklift and telehandler operation and the ability to be certified on multiple platforms.</li><li>Experience with field maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment.</li><li>Incident Command System (ICS) certifications preferred (ICS 100/200/IS 700.B etc.)</li><li>Trade certifications/licenses e.g., electrical, generator maintenance, HVAC, etc. preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Work Environment</strong>:</p><p>Employees may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong>:</p><p>Employees may be required to remain in a stationary position, stand, push, pull, climb, kneel, crawl, balance, squat, bend, and reach. Employees may be also required to use gear to move items around, including, but not limited to, carts and dollies.
