    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Clinical Instructor will teach in the undergraduate program at a clinical site with 8-9 students with an emphasis on the care of a patient within the psychiatric/medical-surgical patient population. Clinical instructors are expected to be available for all clinical assignments once scheduled during the semester. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Complete facility orientation prior to the start of clinical.</li>\n <li>Create patient assignments prior to the start of the clinical day.</li>\n <li>Supervise students in all aspects of care of patients/clients.</li>\n <li>Review and provide feedback for all written clinical assignments.</li>\n <li>Submit grades for assignments as directed by course coordinator.</li>\n <li>Provide weekly feedback to students in the clinical area.</li>\n <li>Complete midterm/final clinical evaluations.</li>\n <li>Plan instructional activities for pre/post conferences.</li>\n <li>Communicate and issues at the clinical site with course coordinator.</li>\n <li>Responsible for all clinical hours assigned to the course.</li>\n <li>Assist in Proctoring exams if needed.</li>\n <li>Attend faculty meetings once a semester.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education/Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Masters Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution</li>\n <li>Medical/Surgical nursing background (3-5 years’ experience), including clinical supervision of students</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Licensures/Certifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid NY State Professional RN license</li>\n <li>Current CPR for the Professional Rescuer or Health Provider</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Self-directed and organized</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Maximum Salary</h2>USD $90.00/Hr.\n<h2>Minimum Salary</h2>USD $80.00/Hr.",
