    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Ithaca College Annual Fund is looking for a Student Supervisor for our Phonathon Program.</p>\n<p>Qualifications</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Currently enrolled as a student at Ithaca College and has been employed in Phonathon.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated understanding of and comfort with Ithaca College fundraising activities, including Phonathon goals and objectives.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Ithaca College campus, activities, and history</li>\n <li>Ability to motivate and create enthusiasm with peer group.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate directions and information in a concise and constructive manner.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Interest in helping Ithaca College</li>\n <li>Courteous and engaging personality</li>\n <li>Able to present information concisely and persuasively.</li>\n <li>Able to follow directions and accurately record data/details.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Good time-management skills</li>\n <li>Reliable and dependable</li>\n <li>Detail oriented and proactive.</li>\n <li>Creative</li>\n <li>Team player and the ability to work independently.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated leadership and management skills.</li>\n <li>Willingness to learn appropriate ways to provide constructive feedback to peers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Responsibilities</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as a role model for callers, always displaying a positive and professional attitude.</li>\n <li>Help callers reach goals by answering questions, coaching, and demonstrating good phoning techniques.</li>\n <li>Reinforce good phoning skills by providing support and encouragement to callers.</li>\n <li>Prepare calling assignments.</li>\n <li>Select motivational activities for each shift and prepare all activity materials, incentives, etc.</li>\n <li>Assist with any additional related duties as they occur.</li>\n <li>Meet Phonathon performance standards.</li>\n <li>Manage schoolwork load and job hours.</li>\n <li>Uphold Phonathon employment and confidentiality agreements.</li>\n <li>Inform Ithaca College alumni and parents about campus events, news, enhancements, and initiatives&nbsp;(Calling, Texting &amp; Emailing).</li>\n <li>Professionally communicate Ithaca’s mission and priorities</li>\n <li>Maintain and update information and records.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ask alumni and parents to make a gift to support the College by credit card, pledge,&nbsp;or check.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Schedule/Hours</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work two shifts per week.\n  <ul>\n   <li>Shift times:<br>\n    o&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Monday evening, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.<br>\n    o&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Tuesday evening, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.<br>\n    o&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Wednesday evening, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.<br>\n    o&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Thursday evening, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Attend and participate in supervisor meetings.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Experience You will Gain:</p>\n<ol>\n <li>Professional experience</li>\n <li>Confidence</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Ithaca College</li>\n <li>Better understanding of Philanthropy/Giving Back</li>\n <li>Develop transferable skills:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Verbal Communication</li>\n   <li>Leadership</li>\n   <li>Collaboration and teamwork</li>\n   <li>Time management</li>\n   <li>Money management</li>\n   <li>Customer Service Skills</li>\n   <li>Ability to negotiate.</li>\n   <li>Ease/comfort meeting/talking to new people.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Networking Opportunities</li>\n</ol>\n<p>Hourly Pay: $16.30</p>\n<p>Supervisor: Kelly Dukerich</p>",
