    "description": "<p>The Wire Harness Technician is responsible for the fabrication of complex wire harnesses and cable assemblies. This role involves precise wire cutting, terminal crimping, and assembly, working from a variety of technical documents, schematics or physical samples. The ideal candidate will have experience in prototyping or a high-mix, low-volume environment, demonstrating an ability to adapt to new designs, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to process improvement.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accurately cut, strip, and terminate wires according to specifications.</li>\n<li>Perform various crimping operations to attach terminals, connectors, and splices.</li>\n<li>Assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies by routing wires, applying protective coverings (e.g., heat shrink tubing, loom), and securing with ties or clamps.</li>\n<li>Read and interpret engineering schematics, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure correct assembly.</li>\n<li>Utilize sample harnesses and prototypes to guide assembly and verify accuracy.</li>\n<li>Conduct basic quality checks and testing on completed harnesses to ensure they meet quality and functionality standards.</li>\n<li>Participate in process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall product quality.</li>\n<li>Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Skills and Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience in wire harness assembly, including cutting, stripping, crimping wires and assembly.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to read and understand schematics, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.</li>\n<li>Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.</li>\n<li>A strong willingness to learn new assembly techniques and processes.</li>\n<li>Experience in a prototyping or high-mix, low-volume production environment is highly preferred.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of common wire types, terminals, and connectors.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with quality control procedures for electrical assemblies.</li>\n</ul>",
