This position is responsible for overseeing facility operations, maintenance activities, infrastructure reliability, vendor management, and workplace services to support business operations safely and efficiently.<br><br>The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong technical knowledge of building systems, maintenance operations, and facility management practices within commercial, industrial, laboratory, or manufacturing environments. This role requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.<br><br><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong><ul><li>Manage day-to-day facility operations, maintenance activities, and building infrastructure.</li><li>Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, and mechanical systems.</li><li>Lead facility technicians and coordinate work performed by contractors and service providers.</li><li>Monitor facility performance and respond to operational issues, emergencies, and customer requests.</li><li>Manage maintenance work orders, asset tracking, and preventive maintenance schedules using CMMS platforms such as SAP.</li><li>Support capital improvement projects, facility renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.</li><li>Develop scopes of work (SOW), review proposals, and manage vendor contracts and service agreements.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, environmental regulations, OSHA requirements, and applicable building codes.</li><li>Conduct routine facility inspections and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and workplace safety.</li><li>Manage facility operating budgets, maintenance expenditures, and service contracts.</li><li>Support space planning, furniture moves, and workplace modifications as needed.</li><li>Coordinate facility access, security support, and contractor activities.</li><li>Partner with internal stakeholders to support operational requirements and business objectives.</li></ul>Additional Responsibilities<ul><li>Support emergency response planning and business continuity efforts.</li><li>Assist with energy management and sustainability initiatives.</li><li>Maintain facility documentation, maintenance records, and compliance reports.</li><li>Support audits, inspections, and regulatory activities.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.",
