    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Company Overview:</span></p>\n<p>In 2024 Delphi Infrastructure Group, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, was formed to manage a portfolio of utility construction services serving the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, and Florida regions from six facilities.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Our comprehensive construction services and end market capabilities are provided to prominent utility companies under four complementary brands:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Precision Pipeline Services</span> – a provider of installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance services for utility customers since 1997</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Allegheny Contracting</span> – a provider of gas transmission and distribution installation, repair, maintenance, and replacement services since 1997</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SabCon Underground</span> – an underground utility and natural gas pipeline contractor established in 2016</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">JMF Underground</span> – providing directional drilling, underground utility and maintenance solutions since 2015</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Role:</span></p>\n<p>The Corporate Controller is responsible for leading the organization’s accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and month-end close process across multiple operating companies. This role plays a critical leadership position within the finance team and partners closely with executive leadership to support strategic financial decision-making, operational performance, and continued company growth.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have strong construction accounting experience, a deep understanding of job costing and WIP reporting, and experience managing multi-entity financial operations in a fast-paced environment.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Essential Functions:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across all operating companies</li>\n<li>Ensure timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules</li>\n<li>Oversee general ledger activity, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting</li>\n<li>Manage and improve internal accounting controls, processes, and procedures</li>\n<li>Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, fixed assets, and cash management functions</li>\n<li>Analyze and manage Work in Progress (WIP) reporting and revenue recognition processes</li>\n<li>Partner with operational leaders to review project financial performance, profitability, labor costs, and forecasting</li>\n<li>Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning processes</li>\n<li>Coordinate annual audits, tax preparation support, and external reporting requirements with outside auditors and tax partners</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies</li>\n<li>Develop financial reporting packages, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis for executive leadership and ownership</li>\n<li>Assist with ERP optimization, accounting system implementations, and process improvements</li>\n<li>Supervise and mentor accounting team members while promoting accountability and professional development</li>\n<li>Support mergers, acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic initiatives as needed</li>\n<li>Perform additional duties assigned by executive leadership</li>\n<li>Additional duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Minimum Qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<p>Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required, master’s in accounting preferred</p>\n<p>CPA or CMA preferred</p>\n<p>7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience required</p>\n<p>3+ years of leadership or management experience required</p>\n<p>Strong construction accounting experience required</p>\n<p>Strong understanding of job costing, percentage-of-completion accounting, and WIP schedules</p>\n<p>Experience with multi-entity accounting environments preferred</p>\n<p>Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems required; construction ERP experience preferred</p>\n<p>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required</p>\n<p>Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills</p>\n<p>Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment</p>\n<p>Excellent communication and leadership skills</p>\n<p>High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail</p>",
