    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Micro-Electronics Quality Inspector</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Job Location: Torrance, CA</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Salary: $25.00-$35.00/hr DOE</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Stellant Systems currently has an opening for a Quality Inspector at our Torrance, California location. In this position, you will perform receiving, in-line & final inspection.  </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>This job primarily includes but is not limited to visual inspection, solder inspection, documentation review, mechanical measuring & part identification.</li>\n <li>Perform inspection per IPC J-STD-001 of SMT components & mechanical parts on subassemblies, assemblies and end products using microscope and hand inspection tools.</li>\n <li>Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure proper assembly, dimensions and perform Final Inspection of hardware to ensure compliance with drawing.</li>\n <li>Verifies work performed in accordance with routing sheets, specifications, and manufacturing instructions.</li>\n <li>Prepare accurate discrepancy documents and inspection reports and maintain inspection data.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience, preferably in quality workmanship inspections of electronic and mechanical assemblies.</li>\n <li>Experience in IPC J-STD-001 & Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling controls and performing solder inspection of circuit board assemblies.</li>\n <li>Must have experience in the use of inspection tools (i.e., microscopes, micrometers, calipers, height gage and scales). </li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to work from blueprints, drawings, engineering documents, and manufacturing instructions.</li>\n <li>Must be able to determine hardware compliance through the use of specifications and instructions.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift packages weighing up to 35 pounds. </li>\n <li>High school graduate or equivalent.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have working knowledge of MS Outlook (email), MS Word, MS Excel, and familiarity working with databases.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiar with comparator and CMM a plus.</li>\n <li>Participate in training and meet necessary certifications as required.</li>\n <li>Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Stellant Systems is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
