Job Overview
As a Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for the front office employees, including mentoring, interviewing, hiring, terminating, scheduling, assigning duties, and evaluating performance.
Front Office Manager will also be responsible for maintaining the store’s brand and ensuring continuous delivery of outstanding customer service. You will coach and oversee the Front Office department to ensure customers are provided fast, friendly and accurate customer service. The Front Office Manager will also assist with processing customer transactions and assisting the Sales team with completing orders.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Oversee Front Office employees.
Recruit and hire quality employees to meet the needs of business.
Create schedules and assign duties to employees.
Train and mentor new employees and provide continuing education to existing employees.
Evaluate employees based on performance metrics.
Rent AFW vehicles to our customers, and process financing applications.
Perform cash drawer and safe/petty cash audits and report any discrepancies to the AFW Management Team. Ensure all front office staff provide exceptional customer service and are assisting customers during the check process to the best of their ability.
Respond to public address system announcements.
Identify and read reports, tickets and UPC labels.
Completes customer transactions accurately and efficiently at point-of-sale.
Requires recognizing, identifying and using merchandise and necessary reports.
Executes consistent operational and selling processes.
Educates customers and employees on our Satisfaction Guaranteed return policy.
Coordinate and work effectively with multiple departments to continuously improve processes, maximize efficiency and exceed customer service expectations.
Take ownership to enhance customer experience. Partners with all other departments to ensure customers’ needs are met and processes are completed per policy.
Enforcement of all company policies and procedures.
Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
All other duties assigned by the Store, Regional, or Operations Manager as directed.
This position supervises staff of 5 – 10 employees any given time. This position is supervised directly by the Store or Facility Manager depending on location.
Compensation
Pay rate: Starting at $24/hour and up – Dependent on experience and education
Pay Grade D: $19.72-$36.63

Job Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills with experience as a Store Manager or similar role
Budgeting and payroll experience
Cash handling and safe balancing
Hands on experience with STORIS software, and Microsoft Suite

Certificates & Licenses
Certifications and licenses related to business and safety are preferred.
Education & Experience
Four-year college or university program degree; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 hours daily.
Requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 a day.
Must be able to lift 15 to 50 pounds at times.
Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back.
Able to work in various environments with different lighting, loud exterior noise, and flooring.
