    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Job Title:&nbsp;</strong>Operator II</p><p><strong>Division:&nbsp;</strong>FiOptix Inc &nbsp;</p><p><strong>FSLA Status</strong>: &nbsp;Non-Exempt</p><p><strong>Reports To:&nbsp;</strong>Project Manager</p><p><strong>Job Summary:&nbsp;</strong>This position is responsible for the operation of various equipment utilized to perform underground construction projects. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Operate construction equipment, including but not limited to a mini excavator, skid steer, bore drill, drop trench machinery, directional drill operation on 15,000 lb. machines, backhoe, trencher, and plow&nbsp;</li><li>Load, transport, and unload tools, materials, and equipment in a safe manner</li><li>Locate cables in accordance with blueprints&nbsp;</li><li>Identify marked and/or unmarked utilities in the construction area&nbsp;</li><li>Perform pre and post operation inspection of the equipment; ensure routine equipment maintenance is performed per service requirements and safety guidelines &nbsp;</li><li>Hand dig utilizing shovel and/or other mechanical tools as required</li><li>Organize materials and basic hand tools necessary to complete excavation requirements</li><li>Restore and/or landscape disturbed areas of the job site&nbsp;</li><li>Complete all required Company documentation</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong> To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.</p><p><strong>Education:&nbsp;</strong><strong>High school diploma, general education degree (G.E.D.), or related trade school education</strong></p><p><strong>Experience:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>One to two years&rsquo; experience drilling in standard and high-risk areas</li><li>One to two years&rsquo; experience as a locator</li><li>Experience using mud mixing devices and bore gel&nbsp;</li><li>Commercial driver&rsquo;s license (CDL) preferred&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of highway traffic control standards</li></ul><p><strong>Technical Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to read and understand blueprints</li><li>Knowledge of utility depths and placement</li><li>Ability to read and interpret design prints</li></ul><p><strong>Soft Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to read, comprehend, and carry out instructions</li><li>Ability to detect errors, determine causes, and make corrections as appropriate&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing</li><li>Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and a driving record that meets Company requirements</li><li>Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 75 lbs; includes body weight, equipment, tools and boxes</li><li>Ability to work in various settings with moderate to loud noise levels &nbsp;</li><li>Ability to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces</li><li>Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather</li><li>Ability to work in trenches, tunnels, and manholes&nbsp;</li><li>May be required to work long and unpredictable hours</li></ul><p><strong>Disclaimer</strong>: All job requirements are subject to possible revision to reflect changes in the position requirements.
