For both new construction and renovation projects, we offer design-build/design-assist, value engineering, and CAD services, working with biotech, healthcare, commercial, transportation, and technology companies, as well as many government agencies.</p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists in installing power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed equipment.</li>\n <li>Replaces light fixtures, lamps, receptacles, switches, and ballasts as needed</li>\n <li>Pulling wire in conduit or raceway</li>\n <li>Measure, cut and bend wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools.</li>\n <li>Transport tools, materials, equipment and supplies to work site by hand, hand truck.</li>\n <li>Move and organize materials as required</li>\n <li>Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings, using hand and power tools.</li>\n <li>Assists Journeyman Electrician as needed</li>\n <li>Clean work area</li>\n <li>Performs other facilities maintenance work as needed</li>\n <li>Erect electrical system components and barricades</li>\n <li>Perform skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment</li>\n <li>Responsible for accurate and timely paperwork related to essential duties and responsibilities.</li>\n <li>Solder electrical connections, using soldering iron</li>\n <li>Dig trenches or holes for installation of conduit or supports</li>\n <li>Remove debris or vegetation from work sites</li>\n <li>Bolt component parts together to form assemblies, using hand tools</li>\n <li>Paint a variety of objects related to electrical functions</li>\n <li>Transport tools, materials, equipment and supplies to work site by hand, handtruck or motorized truck</li>\n <li>Install copper clad ground rods using an manual post driver</li>\n <li>Thread conduit ends, connect couplings, and fabricate and secure conduit support brackets, using hand tools</li>\n <li>Order construction or extraction materials or equipment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Position requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year (Extreme heat/cold, rain, snow)</li>\n <li>Work from all types of ladders (step ladders, “A” frame, extension ladders and carry and relocate up to 12’ stepladder.</li>\n <li>Perform work at various heights from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, cat walks or other areas</li>\n <li>Wear personal protective equipment (hardhat, safety glasses at all times).</li>\n <li>Repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers</li>\n <li>Able to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, overtime as require and night shifts</li>\n <li>Laborer/Helpers are prohibited from working on energized circuits or equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead</li>\n <li>Lift up to 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Constantly moving/standing</li>\n <li>Climb ladders</li>\n <li>Complete overhead work</li>\n <li>Must possess good vision, normal or corrected</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#dyndc</p>\n<p>#LI-dyndc</p>\n<p>#LI-HVACjobs </p>\n<p>#LI-Onsite </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we </strong><strong>offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
