    "requisitionDescription": "<div><h2 id=\"isPasted\">MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</h2><p>A.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES</p><ol><li>Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical and electronic prints preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Familiar with manufacturing equipment and its functions.</li><li>Ability to work with hazardous materials and conditions safely.</li><li>Ability to understand and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to understand logic boards and relays.</li><li>Ability to safely operate all related tool making machinery preferred. (Bridgeport, Lathe, Drill Press, Welder, and accessories).</li><li>Basic knowledge of HVAC units preferred.</li><li>Familiar with National Electrical Codes preferred.</li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Highschool lever math skills.</li><li>Safety conscious.</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>B.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;EDUCATION AND TRAINING</p><ol><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Maintenance skills test required.</li><li>Knowledge of Whitlam Recycling program (in-house training).</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><h2>JOB DESCRIPTION:</h2><p>Responsible for efficiently installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment, routine building and non-manufacturing equipment maintenance and/or repair (including occasional snow removal and salting of walkways). To manufacture parts and/or assemblies from drawing or concept for production or building maintenance, with a high regard for quality. Perform all duties and functional responsibilities.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>A.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;DUTIES AND FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><ol><li>Maintain, repair, build and upgrade manufacturing and non-manufacturing equipment.</li><li>Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical systems for the building.</li><li>Maintain and repair warehouse equipment such as: forklift, pallet jacks and carts as necessary.</li><li>Maintain, repair and upgrade electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.</li><li>Responsible for miscellaneous errands as required.</li><li>Complete and maintain all required paperwork accurately and efficiently.</li><li>Handle materials, tools and equipment with proper care and respect.</li><li>Ensure all lighting elements, waste oils, solvents and other chemicals used in the maintenance process are properly stored and disposed of, according to environmental and safety regulations.</li><li>Comply with all pertinent departmental and company policies, procedures and instructions.</li><li>Perform backup duties to Pressroom / Building Maintenance staff in their absence.</li><li>Perform any other duties as required.</li></ol></div>\n",
