Come join us and help shape the future!&nbsp;</p>\n<p>WSP is&nbsp;initiating&nbsp;a search for a&nbsp;<strong><u>Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X)&nbsp;Systems&nbsp;Engineer&nbsp;/ Project Manager</u></strong>&nbsp;to provide&nbsp;technical&nbsp;support&nbsp;to&nbsp;national,&nbsp;regional,&nbsp;and local staff for the&nbsp;delivery&nbsp;of&nbsp;V2X&nbsp;projects across the&nbsp;US.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong><u>This is a remote postion: candidates can sit out out of any U.S. WSP office.</u> Detroit, MI, San Diego, CA, Tallahassee, FL, Atlanta, GA, NYC, Washington D.C., and Nashville, TN are key locations.</strong></p>\n<p>The&nbsp;V2X Systems Engineer&nbsp;will&nbsp;be familiar with V2X industry standards,&nbsp;system deployment, integration, and operation, as well as be&nbsp;comfortable working with Federal, State, and local&nbsp;government&nbsp;agency clients.&nbsp;&nbsp;Familiarity with traffic signal controllers is a plus.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Your&nbsp;Impact and Responsibilities</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as a technical resource&nbsp;on&nbsp;V2X projects&nbsp;for the National Transportation &amp; Infrastructure Business Line supporting regional and local offices&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Develop&nbsp;System Engineering and other client documents&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Participate in document review, design review, and project management meetings with state and local&nbsp;government&nbsp;clients&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Design\\Develop&nbsp;V2X messages to convey road geometry,&nbsp;sensor information, work zone,&nbsp;and other traveler information&nbsp;and warnings&nbsp;to drivers&nbsp;based V2X and existing client data&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Oversee&nbsp;contractors in the installation of&nbsp;V2X devices&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Perform integration and&nbsp;configuration of V2X devices, roadside equipment, and management systems&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Perform&nbsp;bench testing, first article testing, and system acceptance testing of V2X devices and systems&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Assist&nbsp;with inventory\\asset management&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Attend national,&nbsp;regional, and local&nbsp;industry&nbsp;conferences&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Assist&nbsp;in&nbsp;identifying&nbsp;opportunities&nbsp;for projects with new and existing clients&nbsp;across the&nbsp;country&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Assist&nbsp;with proposal development&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required&nbsp;Qualifications </strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Transportation, Civil, or Systems Engineering&nbsp;</li>\n <li>7&nbsp;to&nbsp;12&nbsp;years of&nbsp;relevant full-time post-bachelor’s experience&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Intermediate&nbsp;to expert&nbsp;knowledge of V2X industry standards&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Intermediate understanding of V2X System deployment&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Intermediate understanding of V2X system integration and&nbsp;system&nbsp;operation&nbsp;</li>\n <li>intermediate&nbsp;proficiency&nbsp;in&nbsp;technical computations and calculations involving the application of engineering principles&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Comfortable working with Federal, State, and local&nbsp;government&nbsp;agency clients&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Intermediate&nbsp;knowledge of&nbsp;traffic signal controller&nbsp;operation&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>",
