As a <strong>Civil Engineering Co‑op Student</strong> with our Land Development &amp; Municipal Engineering team in Kamloops, you’ll collaborate with experienced professionals, apply your academic knowledge in a practical setting, and build the skills that will support your growth as a future engineer.</p><hr><p><strong>Your Impact</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Support civil design and analysis for land development and municipal infrastructure projects.</li><li>Assist with preparing drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.</li><li>Participate in site visits to observe construction activities and gain field experience.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers, technologists, and project managers on multidisciplinary teams.</li><li>Apply engineering fundamentals to solve real‑world challenges.</li><li>Contribute to safe, sustainable, and community‑focused infrastructure solutions.</li><li>Learn WSP standards, tools, and best practices in a professional consulting environment.</li></ul><hr><p><strong>The Skills That Set You Apart</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Currently enrolled in a <strong>Civil Engineering or related undergraduate program</strong>.</li><li>Completed at least one year of post‑secondary engineering studies.</li><li>Basic understanding of civil engineering principles (grading, servicing, or transportation is an asset).</li><li>Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software is an asset.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.</li><li>Effective communication and teamwork abilities.</li><li>Willingness to work in both office and field environments.</li></ul><hr><p><strong>Why Choose WSP?</strong></p><p>Why Choose WSP?
