    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p><p>1. Supervise a work group to assure production of products/services meets daily production schedules.</p><p>2. Ensure company safety policy is followed.</p><p>3. Ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed and that all employees follow Good Manufacturing Practices.</p><p>4. Ensure communication of objectives, programs, policies and that team members are familiar with their authority, responsibilities, and objectives.</p><p>5. Ensure achievement of objectives relating to personnel management, personnel safety, product quality, productivity, yield, and scheduling.</p><p>6. Oversee training of new employees in proper performance of line tasks.</p><p>7. Complete production reports and payroll responsibilities as required.</p><p>8. Through leadership, training and effective role modeling, personally ensure that all team members understand and use the Charter, Employee Handbook, Managing Principles and Team Commitment to increase a participatory environment of working together for mutual benefit.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;*&nbsp;</strong>Discipline, responsibility, and motivation</p><p><strong>&nbsp;*&nbsp;</strong>Strong organizational skills</p><p><strong>&nbsp;*&nbsp;</strong>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills</p><p><strong>&nbsp;*&nbsp;</strong>Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills</p><p><strong>&nbsp;*&nbsp;</strong>A pattern of initiative and leadership</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;*&nbsp;</strong>Degree in related field, lead experience, and/or equivalent work experience</p><p><strong>&nbsp;*&nbsp;</strong>Knowledge of HACCP programs</p><p>At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
