The Quality Engineer owns the analysis behind escapes, the rigor behind corrective actions, and the standards that prevent rework and customer issues.</p>\n\n<h1><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h1>\n\n<h2><strong>Root Cause, Corrective Action &amp; Defect Prevention</strong></h2>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Lead 5-Why, Fishbone, and 8D analyses for internal and external defects.</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Drive corrective actions through full lifecycle: containment  - root cause -  fix - verification - sustainment.</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Eliminate chronic issues in SMT, AOI, reflow, selective solder, hand solder, mechanical assembly, and wiring.</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Partner with Process Engineering to validate improvements and confirm sustained defect reduction.</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<h2><strong>Quality Systems &amp; AS9100 Compliance</strong></h2>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Maintain and improve procedures, forms, records, and controlled documents for AS9100/ISO9001.</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Support internal audits and prepare documentation for external and customer audits.</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Ensure calibration, traceability, and traveler documentation remain controlled and accurate.</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Maintain supplier quality documentation and support supplier CARs when needed.</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<h2><strong>Data Analysis &amp; Reporting</strong></h2>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Own internal quality metrics: FPY, escapes, rework trends, defect Pareto, SPC data, and audit results.</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly quality analysis to leadership—fact-based, no fluff.</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Identify top defect drivers and work cross-functionally to prevent recurrence.</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<h2><strong>Inspection Support &amp; Quality Control</strong></h2>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Support inspection teams with defect classification, workmanship interpretation, and disposition decisions.</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Validate AOI programming logic and work with engineers to reduce false calls and misses.</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Ensure proper acceptance criteria per IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and Titan/customer-specific requirements.</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<h2><strong>NPI Quality &amp; Documentation</strong></h2>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Review all NPI packages for clarity, accuracy, and proper quality controls before release.</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Verify BOM accuracy, AVL compliance, drawings, torque specs, functional test steps, inspection steps, and documentation completeness.</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Support First Article builds and ensure issues are correctly captured and resolved.</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<h2><strong>Customer Quality Support</strong></h2>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Support customer returns (RMA) with timely root-cause analysis and clear, professional documentation.</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Participate in customer visits, audits, and quality reviews as required.</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p> </p>",
