It features a competitive hourly rate <strong>Starting at $16 per hour, with higher rates available based on experience and skills.</strong> Perks include <strong>Free entry</strong> to any Six Flags Park for all employees with each visit, additional complimentary tickets for friends and family, discounts on food and merchandise for all employees, flexible scheduling and access to Dayforce Wallet, and bi-weekly pay.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Six Flags Fiesta Texas is looking for an organized and dedicated individual to join the Entertainment Technical Services Team. As an <strong>Entertainment Technician</strong> you will be responsible for running assigned tracks for stage productions and special events, assist with load in and load out of show product, assist with parade duties and assist with other technical services projects as assigned. This individual will work closely with the technical services team and entertainment production staff to ensure the smooth and safe installation of entertainment products and ensure the daily operation of the assigned shows and special projects.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>HOW YOU WILL DO IT:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform daily operational duties to assist the department in the running of assigned show tracks</li>\n <li>Drive parade floats as needed during parade operating seasons</li>\n <li>Perform daily inspections of all scenic elements, lighting systems and special effects</li>\n <li>Repair and correct any issues quickly and safely to ensure a safe guest experience</li>\n <li>Assist the technical services team in daily operational duties including new builds and repairs, load ins and load outs, system maintenance and other projects as assigned</li>\n <li>Communicate with the stage management and production management team on any issues or safety concerns or issues.</li>\n <li>Operate various vehicles, tools and equipment as assigned</li>\n <li>Adheres to safe work practices and policies that further the safety culture of the department and park</li>\n <li>Must be available for all scheduled technical rehearsals</li>\n <li>Must be available for extended work calls during specific times of the year</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Must be at least 18 years old</strong></li>\n <li>HS diploma, Theater Education (BA) or (BFA) or equivalent experience preferred</li>\n <li><strong>Previous experience in the Entertainment/Theme Park Industry preferred</strong></li>\n <li>Strong motivated team player with a strong ability to multi-task</li>\n <li>Experience in any of the following:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Carpentry</li>\n   <li> Audio/Visual</li>\n   <li> Lighting</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Strong verbal, written communication skills</li>\n <li>Must be able to work on projects independently and in group settings</li>\n <li>Ability to work a consistent 37-40-hour work week with a variety of hours or shifts, including weekends, evenings and some late evening/ overnight shifts. Opportunities for 40+ hours during select times of the year.</li>\n <li>Willingness to train for other operational departments and assist same during specific key periods </li>\n <li>Ensure compliance w/ standard operating procedures, park policies, and regulations </li>\n <li>Must be able to lift up to 50lbs </li>\n <li><strong>Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions</strong> </li>\n <li>Will frequently work at heights of 20 feet or more and occasionally work at heights up to 100 feet via catwalks, ladders and personnel lifts </li>\n <li><strong>Valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles, PIT equipment and parade floats required. </strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>OTHER NOTES:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole. </li>\n <li>Reports to Technical Production Supervisor and/or venue Stage Manager during productions </li>\n</ul>",
