Webb Wellness and Rehabilitation Center <strong>Safety Sensitive</strong>: Yes</p>\r\n<p><strong>Reports to:</strong> Membership Services/Sales Nursery Manager <strong>Exempt Status</strong>: No</p>\r\n<p><strong>Position Purpose:</strong></p>\r\n<p>All KHI employees are expected to perform their respective tasks and duties in such a way that supports KHI&rsquo;s vision of providing the region&rsquo;s best clinical care and patient service through an environment that fosters respect for others and pride in performance.</p>\r\n<table>\r\n<tbody>\r\n<tr>\r\n<td width=\"719\">\r\n<p>Directly responsible for the care of infants and children in various nursery work area. Other duties involve taking reservations and maintaining a safe, clean and healthy child care environment.</p>\r\n</td>\r\n</tr>\r\n</tbody>\r\n</table>\r\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong><em>[List of material responsibilities and essentials duties which must be completed in achieving the objectives of the position]</em></p>\r\n<table>\r\n<tbody>\r\n<tr>\r\n<td width=\"719\">\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Provide care for children which involves indoor and outdoor activities.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Communicate orally in person and on the phone, in writing to customer, co-worker and supervisor.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Provide safe, clean, and healthy environment for infants and preschool children.&nbsp;</li>\r\n<li>Must be alert at all times with the ability to see any potential dangerous situations.&nbsp;</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>&middot; Demonstrates positive and professional personal relations in dealing with children, members, and guests.&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>&middot; Demonstrates positive interpersonal relations in dealing with co-workers, managers/supervisors, and other members of the staff so as to promote efficiency and quality member care.&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>&middot; Provides excellent customer service and adheres to the Behavioral Expectation Agreement.&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>&middot; Attends mandatory staff meetings</p>\r\n<p>&middot; Provides daily care for pre-school children which includes:</p>\r\n<p>-safe outdoor activities, weather permitting.</p>\r\n<p>-safe indoor activities to keep children amused.</p>\r\n<p>&middot; Maintaining a service so that parent and child are satisfied.</p>\r\n<p>&middot; Keeps track of child reservations and is able to communicate effectively and professionally with the child&rsquo;s parents.</p>\r\n<p>May perform other duties as follows:</p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Washing toys.</li>\r\n<li>Washing linens.</li>\r\n<li>Checking and maintaining supplies.</li>\r\n<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n</td>\r\n</tr>\r\n</tbody>\r\n</table>\r\n<p><strong>Qualifications </strong><em>[Statements regarding minimum educational and experience qualifications, required proficiencies with specialized knowledge, computer proficiencies, military service, required certifications, etc.] </em></p>\r\n<table>\r\n<tbody>\r\n<tr>\r\n<td width=\"719\">\r\n<p><strong>Education:</strong> High School student 16 years of age or older.&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><strong>Certifications/Licensure:</strong> CPR certification through American Heart Association: BLS or Heartsaver with AED or American Red Cross with AED.</p>\r\n<p><strong>Skills: </strong></p>\r\n<p>&middot; Caring, nurturing, being alert and able to adapt quickly to changing situations, patience.</p>\r\n<p>&middot; Must be able to hear children in case of emergencies and smell for any potential dangerous situations.</p>\r\n</td>\r\n</tr>\r\n</tbody>\r\n</table>\r\n<p><strong>Preferences </strong><em>[Preferred attributes for the position which are not absolutely required in the minimum qualifications (i.e., multi-lingual, master&rsquo;s degree)]</em></p>\r\n<table>\r\n<tbody>\r\n<tr>\r\n<td width=\"719\">\r\n<p>&middot; Desired: Pass babysitting certification course.</p>\r\n<p>&middot; Experience: Prefer at least one year&rsquo;s experience in childcare.
