This role is responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations, managing psychotropic medications, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support patients experiencing acute mental health conditions.</p><p data-start=\"775\" data-end=\"1011\">The PMHNP will work closely with psychiatrists, nursing staff, therapists, social workers, and hospital leadership to ensure high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care while promoting positive patient outcomes and continuity of care.</p><hr data-start=\"1013\" data-end=\"1016\"><h2 data-section-id=\"18w7bso\" data-start=\"1018\" data-end=\"1041\">Key Responsibilities</h2><h3 data-section-id=\"kzqb98\" data-start=\"1043\" data-end=\"1060\">Clinical Care</h3><ul data-start=\"1061\" data-end=\"1888\"><li data-section-id=\"1vbbsyq\" data-start=\"1061\" data-end=\"1166\">Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for adult inpatient psychiatric patients.</li><li data-section-id=\"1272c2d\" data-start=\"1167\" data-end=\"1357\">Diagnose and treat a broad range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, trauma-related disorders, and substance use disorders.</li><li data-section-id=\"4vh7g0\" data-start=\"1358\" data-end=\"1423\">Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.</li><li data-section-id=\"qabooh\" data-start=\"1424\" data-end=\"1516\">Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in accordance with evidence-based practices.</li><li data-section-id=\"4l7qvn\" data-start=\"1517\" data-end=\"1618\">Assess patients for safety concerns, including suicide risk, self-harm, and behavioral instability.</li><li data-section-id=\"182yv1g\" data-start=\"1619\" data-end=\"1695\">Participate in daily treatment team meetings and interdisciplinary rounds.</li><li data-section-id=\"1hv566b\" data-start=\"1696\" data-end=\"1784\">Complete timely and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).</li><li data-section-id=\"ejuvoe\" data-start=\"1785\" data-end=\"1888\">Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and medication management.</li></ul><h3 data-section-id=\"1wxcbed\" data-start=\"1890\" data-end=\"1927\">Care Coordination &amp;
