Description

Position: Bank Services Representative We’re looking for a dedicated Bank Services Representative to provide outstanding customer service and support as part of our Laconia, NH retail banking team. You’ll play a vital role in building long-lasting relationships with customers while ensuring smooth and accurate financial transactions. Office Operations Process a variety of financial transactions with accuracy, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing. Handle cash balancing and financial transactions with care to minimize errors. Open and maintain retail deposit accounts, ensuring accuracy in all account-related tasks such as signature cards and address changes. Support overall office functions to ensure smooth daily operations. 2. Customer Service & Relationship Building Deliver top-notch service to existing and prospective customers, fostering trust and creating lasting professional relationships. Act as a knowledgeable resource for customer inquiries regarding bank products and services. Maintain a positive and approachable demeanor while assisting customers at the Bank Services Representative window. 3. Professional Growth & Compliance Stay up-to-date with bank policies, products, services, and industry regulations to ensure all operations meet legal and regulatory standards. Participate in ongoing training to enhance your skills, including understanding federal and state regulations and compliance procedures. Adhere to all relevant banking laws, including the Bank Secrecy Act and FinCEN Regulations. Physical Demands & Work Environment Active work environment with periods of standing, sitting, and walking. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. when necessary. Primarily office-based with direct interaction with customers, providing excellent service at the bank’s service windows. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in cash handling, sales, customer service, or banking is a plus. Must have knowledge and experience with computer programs used throughout the course of the workday. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and teammates. A commitment to accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
