As an IVF Lab Tech, you will become specialized in embryo evaluation, grading, and freezing, and other laboratory procedures within the IVF lab.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Our ideal candidate would be passionate about laboratory procedures, client satisfaction, and, of course, embryos! Trans Ova Genetics provides in-depth training that provides a solid foundation prior to supporting client production and would require eight-twelve weeks at our training facility, which is critical to the success of this role.</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Embryo evaluation, grading and freezing.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Fertilization and culture plate preparation.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Semen handling and preparation for IVF.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Recordkeeping/Data Entry.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Embryology training.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Quality Control.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Maintain good laboratory technique and follow lab protocols.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><i>Education Requirements:</i></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Completed high school biology with a minimum B average</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Current minimum GPA of 3.0</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">3-character references from current/past teachers or community member</li></ul><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><i>Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:</i></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Ability to sit for long periods of time behind a microscope, in a lab setting.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Ability to climb ladders and stairs.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Some travel may be required.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Flexible working hours, potential for long days (over 8 hours) and early morning start times.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Rotational weekend and holiday work.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"><i>Other skills/experience:</i></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Good hand to eye coordination.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Strong attention to detail and organization.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Knowledge of the cattle industry is preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\">Works effectively in a team as well as alone (ability to work independently)</li></ul>",
