Description

JOB SUMMARY A personal trainer Interacts with members and program participants to deliver safe, effective, and enjoyable training sessions according to the objectives and policies set forth by Elevation Corporate Health. They work with clients to create individualized plans for achieving their fitness goals within their scope of practice. Provides excellent leadership, up-to-date quality training, and high-energy motivation to members and participants to maximize participation, outcomes, and customer satisfaction. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (virtually or onsite) Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with clients; maintain the culture of the fitness center by delivering excellent customer service Provide excellent and knowledgeable programmed personal training sessions (virtually or onsite) Maintain pertinent/required files on each of your clients (example: files, session tracker, payroll documents) Use the Elevation Boost Portal to manage and check all client sessions Submit Payroll by date requested by management (all clients trained/hours worked) Assist with fitness assessments, equipment and kids’ orientations, tours Advise clients about important safety concerns and demonstrate exercise or maneuvers Provide assistance to correct ineffective or incorrect techniques when observed or asked Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly fitness center and equipment. Adhere to strict cleaning guidelines set by LA County. Talk to the members of the facility about goals, promote fitness and wellness services and programs offered Help with incentive and wellness programming as requested Operate and follow all rules, regulations, and security protocols provided by Elevation and the client listed above Help with incentive and wellness programming as requested OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform other duties as assigned Assist in the development and implementation of fitness programs/incentives Emergency protocols (understand and apply) Attend all employee meetings QUALIFICATIONS Must have and maintain a nationally recognized personal training certification Specialty certifications are a plus Must have and maintain current CPR and AED certifications Must complete Elevations In-House Personal Training Certification Preferred 1 + years of experience working one-on-one with clients and small groups Ability to modify exercise programs to meet the needs of the clients Must be professional, motivational and show excellent customer service Must have a general understanding of marketing services and their unique training niches for members
